Today, world championship events are being organized everywhere at any level, often without real credibility. But the WKN has chosen a different path: a path of seriousness, prestige, and the development of the sport at the highest level.
Take Argentina as an example. The country has not hosted a WKN World Championship for five years (last one was Martin Velazco 🇦🇷vs🇲🇽 Oscar Hernandez). This was a deliberate decision, allowing time to build elite fighters and ensure an exceptional level of organization worthy of such a prestigious title.
On April 11th, after five years without any WKN World Championship in the country, Argentina will host a major event at NDL 3 in Buenos Aires. A high-level world title fight will take place between Argentinian fighter 🇦🇷Tomas Aguirre, WKN South American Champion, and French fighter 🇫🇷Christopher Walter, WKN European Champion.
Thank to the vision of our WKN World President, the promoters Matias Bocchio, Alessandro Faraco & the support of Cristian Bosch the owner of the biggest academie in all South America.
