The WKN is working tirelessly for the development of this traditional Cambodian martial art, and major milestones have been reached. Agreements have officially been established for upcoming championships that will take place very soon in 2026 across Europe (November 21 Belgium 🇧🇪), South America (November 21 Argentina 🇦🇷) , and likely Africa (under agreement December Tunisia 🇹🇳)
At the heart of this expansion is a strong foundation of both professional collaboration and deep friendship between the WKN World President and General Khov Chhay, the supreme authority of Kun Khmer. Sharing an identical vision, their joint efforts are truly bearing fruit as they strive to make Kun Khmer a major international combat sport.
As part of this global strategy, the WKN World President has secured a landmark agreement with Boxrec. Moving forward, all Kun Khmer fights and championships held under the WKN banner will be officially registered on the N1 world data fighters platform, marking a crucial step forward for the sport’s professionalization and global recognition.
