Belfast’s Matthew Kerr (5-0) plans to keep his unbeaten record when he faces Shane Weir (5-1) for a second time at Billy Murray ProKick event at the Clayton Hotel on October 14. Kerr defeated the tough Scott Weir on a close points verdict back in June this year at the Stormont hotel. This time there is a greater prize a stake. The pair battles out for WKN Celtic Nations Super Welterweight title.
In the main event Johnny Smith of Northern Ireland returns to the ring after a year and half lay-off. He faces a 22 year-old Muay Thai champion from Cyprus, Periklis Filippou, who brings to the table a fight record of 13-1. The pair squares off in the scheduled for three rounds international welterweight bout.
