Sayani Gutierrez Historic WKN Champion of Peru 🇵🇪
We are proud to announce Sayani Gutierrez as the new WKN Champion of Peru. In a hard-fought bout vs a strong opponent, Sayani demonstrated exceptional technique and power.
We extend our warmest congratulations to promoter Rolando Aquije and his entire team for successfully bringing the very first WKN Champion to Peru’s history while overcoming major challenges and pressure from all sides to secure this historical title.. This landmark victory is only the beginning. Additional events are already in development, including upcoming official training seminars for judges and referees, providing local officials the opportunity to earn full WKN global accreditation in the near future.
Congratulations Sayani, and congratulations Peru!
*Following the simultaneous action that occurred upon the referee’s stop, the local commission ruled the impact as an unintentional, accidental event. The WKN consistently respects the official decisions made by referees and judges worldwide, and maintains this core principle in Peru by supporting the verdict delivered from the scorecards.
