WKN MMA: Decades of History, Now Recorded on®️BoxRec !
WKN has been sanctioning and organizing MMA fights and championships for several decades. MMA is not something new for WKN, it is already part of our long-standing history in combat sports.
WKN has always stood at the forefront of combat sports history. It remains the only kickboxing federation in the world to have organized championship fights on the grand stage of Vale Tudo IVC owning by Legendary promoter and former multiple kickboxing world champion the Brazilian Sergio Batarelli, the raw, no-holds-barred precursor to modern MMA.
Over the years, WKN MMA champions and fighters have gone on to reach the highest levels of professional MMA – UFC Champions, including internationally recognized athletes such as Swiss fighter Volkan Oezdemir 🇨🇭(WKN MMA World Grand Prix Champion) and Polish legend Joanna Jędrzejczyk 🇵🇱 (WKN World Champion Muay Thai)
What is new today is not WKN MMA itself.
What is new is that WKN MMA fights and championships will now be officially recorded on BoxRec, our exclusive partner.
This represents a major step forward for WKN MMA and, above all, for the credibility and international recognition of our fighters. Their fights, results and championship achievements will now have an official place within one of the world’s leading combat sports databases.
WKN MMA continues its history, now with its results officially recorded on BoxRec.
®️All WKN organizations and titles are officially registered on BoxRec.
