WKN Intercontinental Championship in Turkey

by Wknoffice2022

🇹🇷 WKN Intercontinental Championship in Turkey on December 20th Cancelled.
The WKN Intercontinental Championship scheduled in Turkey on December 20th has unfortunately been cancelled by the promoter, Erkan Varol, despite a contract having been signed several days ago. This is truly regrettable, as the championship would have given the evening a major significance on the global kickboxing stage.
As a serious and professional federation, the WKN would never have announced or promoted this tournament if a contract had not been established in advance. All preparations including the championship belt and associated materials had already been sent, highlighting the rarity of such cancellations after a signed contract.
The event itself will apparently still take place, but without the WKN championship. While the federation chooses not to go into further details, fans should note that the major WKN title fight originally planned will not take place.
To be note: In a spirit of sportsmanship and constructive collaboration, the WKN World office wishes promoter Erkan Varol the best of luck with his organization of the event.
