🇵🇪WKN Continues Its Expansion in Peru
WKN is proud to announce that its development in Peru continues to gain strong momentum.
Negotiations are currently underway between the WKN World Headquarters and Mr. Rolando Aguije regarding an agreement to officially organize two WKN Peru National Championships, marking another important milestone in the expansion of the organization throughout South America.
Earlier this year, in 2026, the WKN World President personally traveled to Peru to meet with local kickboxing community and evaluate the development of kickboxing in the country. During his visit, he witnessed firsthand the remarkable work carried out by Mr. Rolando Aguije and his team. Their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to the sport made a very positive impression on the WKN leadership.
As part of this development, the WKN has also actively supported Sayani Gutierrez by giving him the opportunity to compete in two major WKN events in Argentina. These experiences allowed him to become familiar with the WKN’s international standards, regulations, and event organization while gaining valuable experience within the World Kickboxing Network.
In addition, a nationwide expansion project is currently under consideration, with the objective of extending WKN activities throughout Peru. This initiative aims to support the long-term development of kickboxing across the country by creating new opportunities for athletes, coaches, officials, promoters, and local clubs while establishing a strong and sustainable national WKN structure.
The proposed partnership reflects a shared vision of developing high-level WKN events in Peru, strengthening the organization’s presence, and contributing to the continued growth of kickboxing at every level.
The WKN looks forward to finalizing this agreement and working closely with its Peruvian partners to build a strong and successful future for kickboxing in Peru.
