Cambodia Crowns Its First WKN Kun Khmer World Champion

In front of more than 10,000 passionate spectators, Cambodia witnessed a landmark moment in combat sports history as the very first WKN Kun Khmer World Champion was crowned. The event was nothing short of spectacular an electric atmosphere, world-class organization, and a fight card that showcased the very best of this ancestral martial art.

Lorn Panha secured victory in dominant fashion, delivering a devastating front kick that led to a first-round technical knockout. A powerful and decisive finish that not only earned him the belt, but also a permanent place in WKN history. Across the ring, Zakaria Roigate proved himself to be a courageous and talented opponent, embodying the true spirit of international competition.
The Vision Behind the Event
This historic event was made possible thanks to the vision of the WKN World President, who offered this organization to the KRUD company in honor of Cambodia and to support the development of Kun Khmer, a millennia-old martial art deeply rooted in the nation’s culture.
A special and heartfelt recognition goes to General Khov Chhay, whose trust and support from the very beginning played a crucial role in bringing this project to life. His commitment reflects a genuine dedication to the growth of the sport.
