Souleymane Mbaye is undoubtedly one of the greatest African fighters of his generation. A three-time world Boxing champion who captured world titles in two different weight categories with some of the biggest professional boxing organizations in the world, he has become a true ambassador for combat sports throughout Africa.
Before making his mark in professional boxing, Souleymane was also an outstanding Savate champion / European Junior Champion, building a remarkable career across different forms of combat sport.
Today, Gabon has the privilege of having such a legendary figure actively involved in the development of professional boxing and, more broadly, combat sports across the African continent.
The WKN, its President and its World Director were extremely proud to stand alongside Souleymane Mbaye during this historic weigh-in and press conference in Libreville, Gabon.
