Official Message to All Officials, Judges, and Referees of Combat Sports by WKN World President.
On behalf of the President of the World Kickboxing Network – WKN and on behalf of all those who dedicate their work and passion to the world of combat sports, this message is addressed to every judge, referee, and supervisor around the globe.
We must never forget the essence of what we do: we are here for sport. In combat, as in any competitive discipline, the best fighter must win. It does not matter who the champion is, who the favorite is, or who the public expects to win. What matters above all is that the winner of each bout is the athlete who truly earns victory according to the official scoring of the judges.
Of course, our sports are human, and human error can occur. But this reality must never weaken our commitment to integrity. On the contrary, it must strengthen our responsibility to act with maximum care, precision, and honesty in every decision we make.
From this day forward, I call upon all judges, referees, and supervisors to carry out their duties with a deep sense of responsibility, awareness, and professionalism. Whether it is a WKN event or any other combat sports organization anywhere in the world, every official must understand the weight of their role.
Let every judge be fully accountable for their scoring. Let every referee apply the rules with absolute objectivity. Above all, let every decision be guided by one principle: truth in sport.
We must uphold honor, loyalty, and respect at all times. These are not optional values they are the foundation of combat sports. Without them, there is no credibility, no fairness, and no true victory.
Let us ensure that every weekend, in every ring and every ring sport across the world, the outcome reflects only what happens inside the competition nothing more, nothing less.
