A major milestone in this evolution is the integration and official recognition process of Kun Khmer records within the global combat sports record system ®️BoxRec. This step marks an important achievement in the sport’s professional structuring, allowing fighters and events to be properly recorded and internationally recognized.
This development has been driven with determination by the WKN World President, who worked tirelessly to structure the sport, professionalize its organization, and ensure that Kun Khmer athletes can be accepted within global record systems and standards.
General Khov Chhay remains a central figure in this development. He is the President of the Kun Khmer Federation of Cambodia and represents a strong image of the sport both nationally and internationally. His role is key in structuring, organizing, and promoting Kun Khmer on a large scale.
