The WKN successfully conducted its first official grading examination on the island of Gozo, marking a historic milestone for the development of martial arts and combat sports in this region of Malta.
This is the very first time that an official WKN grading has been organized in Gozo, and many more grading examinations will be introduced across the island in the near future as part of WKN’s long-term development strategy.
The WKN is not simply an organization that sanctions championships and title fights. It is an international federation committed to the complete development of combat sports through a structured educational system, including belt grading examinations, instructor certifications, coach education, referee and judge training, and athlete development programs.
This initiative reflects WKN’s vision of building strong local foundations and creating sustainable opportunities for practitioners, instructors, and clubs throughout Malta.
