Favio Potrillo Romero Preparing to Organize WKN

The WKN is preparing for a historic milestone in Paraguay: the organization of its very first WKN championship in the country, led by Favio Potrillo Romero and his team.

Following his recent visit to Paraguay, the WKN World President has been working on the possibility of establishing our federation in the country. After spending several days alongside Mr. Romero, a well-known figure in Paraguay, former world boxing champion, president/Founder of ANB and owner of the “Bodyth Rogger” brand, which produces high-quality boxing, kickboxing, and MMA equipment, it is with great honor that we are preparing to support the creation of the first-ever WKN championship in Paraguay.

Mr. Romero is also expected to soon become a WKN Official supervisor, a role that will allow many other promoters in Paraguay to more easily organize events in collaboration with the WKN.

Planned for 2026, this event is currently in preparation and will likely feature a national title, marking the official debut of WKN in the country. Paraguay is a true reservoir of talented fighters. Many have already competed in WKN events, often abroad, but the groundwork laid by Mr. Romero is paving the way for WKN to soon become active locally.

This organization is also in preparation to be officially registered with our exclusive partner BoxRec, and the President himself is expected to provide full support to ensure the success of this initiative, not only for Paraguay but also to shine a spotlight on this remarkable country, which has long awaited such an opportunity.
