🎙️« As President of WKN, I would like to share a message about what truly matters in our sport.
In combat sports, the final result is not the most important part.
What matters most is the fight itself.
It is important that both fighters give their very best in the ring. Every round, every exchange, every moment should be fought with full effort, courage, and respect. A great fight is when both athletes push each other to their limits and show their true level.
At the end of the day, it is not only about who wins or loses. It is about the fight that was delivered. When both fighters can leave the ring knowing they gave everything they had, then the fight has truly succeeded.
There is no greater respect in our sport than facing an opponent who brings out your best and forces you to fight at your highest level.
Sometimes, judges’ decisions may not feel the same for everyone. This is part of the sport. It is human, and no system is perfect. What is important is to respect the decision, respect each other, and respect the sport itself.
Because in the end, when two fighters give everything they have, the result becomes secondary.
What remains is the fight itself.
When two athletes compete with heart, respect, and total dedication, there is only one true winner:
Our Sport.
I wish all fighters and everyone involved a great evening, to enjoy every moment, and to help elevate our sport and the WKN even higher.
