Chinto Mordillo Honored in Barcelona: A Moving Tribute to a Spanish Legend
It was a deeply emotional moment last night at the NDL Fight Night in Barcelona, where promoters Víctor Matías Bocchio and Alessandro Faraco paid tribute to one of the greatest fighters in Spanish history, Chinto Mordillo, also known as “El Samurai.”
Stéphane Cabrera, President of the World Kickboxing Network, stated:
“I would like to personally thank the promoters for honoring one of the greatest champions Spain has ever known. This moment means a great deal to me, and I am very proud to see that the new generation of promoters—now among the leading figures in Spain—continue to respect and celebrate the history of our sport. The work accomplished decades ago must never be forgotten. It is truly rewarding for our entire WKN family. I would also like to highlight that Chinto Mordillo has worked tirelessly to restore WKN as the leading federation across Spain. This recognition is more than deserved.”
