WKN’s Commitment to National Championships and Sporting Excellence
Throughout 2025, the WKN undertook a major effort to develop and strengthen a large number of national championships. These national championships are the foundation of our sports. They are not only essential, but also the only serious and constructive way to ensure long-term development, especially in an era where so-called “world champions” can be found in almost every gym.
In this context, it was the responsibility of the WKN to set an example by placing national championships at the heart of its vision and by giving them the recognition they truly deserve. Strong national structures are the cornerstone of credibility, athlete development, and international respect.
All WKN national championships are officially registered on the world’s number one platform, our exclusive partner BoxRec, guaranteeing transparency, legitimacy, and international recognition for athletes and events alike.
In 2026, we will continue this extensive and fundamental work. Our objective is clear: to ensure that our sports are respected everywhere in the world. While we cannot prevent the proliferation of international federations or the inflation of world titles, we firmly believe that another path is possible.
