World President Attends the Freestyle Kickboxing Championship in Romania 🇷🇴!
Invited by the event promoter Radu Adrian Teodorescu of Dynamo Victoria Ploiești and the Romanian Federation, our World President attended the Freestyle Kickboxing Championships in Romania as a Guest of Honor, in a warm yet highly professional atmosphere that brought together numerous talented fighters and clubs.
Our President shares a long and meaningful history with Romania, being the person who helped lay the foundations of professional high-level kickboxing in the country more than 23 years ago. Over the years, he has continuously supported the development of combat sports across Romania, strengthening the link between sport and national institutions dedicated to discipline, respect, and public service.
During this memorable visit, he was pleased to reconnect with some of Romania’s greatest champions, including Amansio Paraschiv (former WKN Intercontinental Champion), Florin Ghita (the first WKN Romania Champion), the country’s first WKN champion, whose success marked a historic moment for Romanian kickboxing more than two decades ago.
Beyond the sporting arena, the President has also cultivated close personal ties with Romania, maintaining strong friendships with high-ranking police officials and respected figures in the country’s martial arts and public safety communities for over 20 years. He also supported the Romanian Police Championships few years ago, which brought together members of the Police, Gendarmerie, and other state security forces, demonstrating his enduring commitment to promoting kickboxing and fight sports within all sectors of Romanian society.
This visit was not only a celebration of sporting excellence but also a moment of cultural exchange, respect, and shared passion values that lie at the heart of our combat sports community.
Congratulations once again to Radu Adrian Teodorescu, the Romanian Federation, and the entire team for organizing such a remarkable and successful event for the amateurs.
