The WKN World Cup comes to New Zealand, which marks the first time in the country’s history when Kickboxing and MMA titles are contested on the world-level at the same tournament. Presented by Team Player Events, the three-day sporting fiesta is held from November 28 to November 30 at The Trusts Arena in Auckland, featuring over 30 amateur world title matches, followed by two professional contests.
The Athlete Registration for the event is now open at CombatWorldCup.com. As many as 60 countries are expected to participate in the historic event held on NZ soil.
The finale will see French star Greg Tony who puts his World Kickboxing Network Super Heavyweight title on the line when he faces famed Brazilian “Bigfoot” Antonio Silva.
Before that the WKN World Middleweight title in MMA will be at stake when undefeated Kelvin “Crazy Horse” Joseph (15-0) of New Zealand goes up against Roan Carneiro of Brazil, who is now aligned with the American Top Team.
