WKN to Sign Agreement for Three Sanctioned Events in Malaysia 🇲🇾 for 2026
The World Kickboxing Network will finalize an agreement by the end of this week with Malaysian promoter Mohd Salleh Bin Mahmor for the organization of three WKN sanctioned events in Malaysia during 2026, scheduled for January, May, and August.
The agreement will include two WKN National Championship title bouts, further strengthening the development and international recognition of Malaysian kickboxing under the WKN banner.
All three events will be officially registered on BoxRec, ensuring global visibility and credibility for fighters, results, and officials.
In addition, before the end of 2025, Malaysia will officially establish its own team of WKN-certified officials, trained and recognized internationally. A dedicated officials’ seminar is planned for November 2025, led by WKN coordinator, to support the continued growth of professional kickboxing standards in the region.
This partnership reflects the WKN’s long-term commitment to developing combat sports across Asia and supporting local promoters and officials who share the same values of respect, integrity, and excellence.
Further details, including event dates, venues, and full fight cards, will be announced soon.
