WKN Strengthens Its Global Influence Through Key Partnerships in Professional Boxing
The WKN remains deeply connected to the world of professional boxing. The WKN President is currently in Malaysia to attend one of the biggest professional boxing and kickboxing events of 2025. It is a great honor for the WKN to be an integral part of the international professional boxing scene, with its president working tirelessly to reach the highest level.
We must look to the world’s number one combat sport professional boxing as an example. This is why, from the very beginning, the WKN and its president have maintained strong ties with the boxing community. One of the clearest proofs of this is our agreement with BoxRec, the world’s leading platform in professional boxing.
Another key figure in our expansion is the WKN Asian coordinator, Alexander Shah, who is very close to the WKN World President. His involvement is a strong guarantee of professionalism and credibility across Asia—in K-1, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and traditional boxing. He is an essential part of our structural development on this continent, which is rich in exceptional fighters.
During this visit, the WKN President was honored to be invited by Mr. Farkhan Haron, one of the most influential figures in Malaysian boxing, current President of the MPBF, and former IBA Intercontinental Champion. Mr. Haron, recognized as one of the best cruiserweights in all of Asia, welcomed our president to a prestigious region of Kuala Lumpur, highlighting the importance of strong relationships with top-level figures in boxing. This collaboration underscores WKN’s commitment to excellence and influence across the Asian boxing scene.
