Simply the Best Kickboxing
Simply the Best 18 takes place at Arena Poprad on March 16. The event promoted by Lukas Bodyy features the A-list Slovakian fighters, international competitors, and several WKN titles contested on the night.
Among the bouts light heavyweight Erik Matejovsky (6-4) faces his Slovakian-fellow Jozef Kolodzej (15-17-1). The non-title bout is scheduled for three rounds. Matejovsky makes his fourth Simply the Best appearance, following STB 14 Prague last April when he KO’d Czech Bernard Plavec in the first round. Kolodzej makes his World Series debut.
The list of other confirmed fighters partaking in STB 18 Poprad includes Slovakian super welterweight Pavol Garaj and lightweight Samuel Hadzima, and Czech heavyweight Petr Vondracek (54-27, 32 KOs).
Tomas Mozny is penciled for STB 18, which is held a week after his showdown with Czech Daniel Skvor at GLORY 51 Rotterdam. The participation of “The Giant Slovak” at STB 18 will be determined post that fight.
