WKN President talk

WKN President talk 🎙️
“As President of the World Kickboxing Network (WKN), I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the city of Spergau, the promoter Mr. Ingo Baberski, and the entire team of WKN Germany.
The organization of this European Amateur Open marks a historic milestone for the WKN, as it is our first-ever amateur open tournament on the continent. I am incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our team, especially my friend and the head supervisor of the event, Klaus Hagemann. Klaus is not only a high-level official but also the worthy successor of the late, great American legend of refereeing, Steve Smoger (rip🙏).
This event is not just another competition; it is the beginning of a new era for amateur kickboxing in Europe under the WKN banner. We have long believed in providing a platform for emerging talents, and this tournament symbolizes that commitment. It is a chance for young athletes to showcase their skills, to gain experience, and to stand on the same stages where future champions will emerge.
To everyone participating in and supporting this event, I wish you the best of luck. Your involvement is vital to the growth of amateur kickboxing, and together we are setting the foundation for a stronger, more unified future.
September 21st will open a new chapter for the WKN, one that celebrates not just the professionals but the heart and soul of the sport—its amateurs.
And let us not forget the timeless truth: the absent are always wrong!
Thank you again for your participation, and for being part of this historic moment for the WKN.”
