After many years away, the World Kickboxing Network, the federation that originally developed and elevated kickboxing in Romania through massive and unforgettable events is now in negotiations for a long-awaited comeback.
The planned date is December 6th in Suceava, with discussions currently underway to finalize an event promoted by Pro Gym Mironescu Sports Association, led by President Ovidiu Mironescu.
If the agreements are completed soon, WKN aims to present three championship bouts featuring some of Romania’s top talents:

This long-awaited return would mark a historic moment for Romanian kickboxing — bringing WKN back to the country that helped build its legacy.
All is still under negotiation, but we hope to finalize the agreements very soon.
