WKN in France & Argentina this Saturday December 7

Following a trio of championship events held last weekend in New Zealand, France and Germany, the leading kickboxing federation, World Kickboxing Network, returns to Argentina and France this Saturday, December 7, 2019.

 

Cristal Boxing 4: Nicola Canu vs. Bryan Lang for WKN European super featherweight title

Former two-time World Kickboxing Network super featherweight title challenger and two-time WKN European featherweight champion Nicola Canu (26-6, 4 KO) from Iglesias, Sardinia, Italy takes on multiple-time French champion Bryan Lang (41-10, 18 KO). The pair battles it out for WKN European super featherweight title in oriental kickboxing. The the scheduled for five rounds contest headlines Cristal Boxing Event #4 taking place at Pôle Sportif Josette Renaux in Baccarat, France.

The undercard will see a series of bouts with local and international competitors. The promoter of the event is Vincent Marinetto.

Strong Among The Strong in Virrey Del Pino, Buenos Aires

The South American capital of Kickboxing, Argentina, hosts the event titled Strong Among The Strong at Café Cultural Juan M. De Rosas in Virrey Del Pino, Buenos Aires. The fight card includes two professional kickboxing bouts, following twelve amateur contests.

The main event is an international kickboxing contest Argentina vs. Bolivia. Argentinian Jose “La Parka” Quispe takes on Edwin “El Tailandes” Montano of Bolivia at welterweight. In the co-main event Fabian Perez squares off against his countryfellow Nicolas Salas at lightweight. The promoter of the event is Ricardo Lescano in collaboration with WKN Argentina office.

The previous WKN event in Argentina was held late November in Ireneo Portela, Buenos Aires. “Estrellas de Acero 5” (Steel Stars, Eng.) continued the WKN Argentinian series of amateur rating tournaments with over 300 athletes participating.

Argentina also highly anticipates “El Gran Desafio” (The Great Challenge, Eng.) scheduled for April 18, 2020 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The contest features former two-division WBA world champion (super lightweight and welterweight) Marcos “El Chino” Maidana (35-5, 31 KO) up against former World Kickboxing Network cruiserweight champion Jorge “Acero” Cali. The pair squares off in the scheduled for six rounds boxing bout at cruiserweight.
