The Battle 18 by WKN takes place at the Olympic Taekwondo Centre in Athens this coming Sunday April 29. The event promoted by Stefanos Kobstantinidis marks three years of collaboration between the No.1 Greek Fight Show and World Kickboxing Network.
The fight card comprises 16 bouts with the best Greek fighters up against international opponents. Two WKN titles will be contested on the night.
The event is headlined by a four-man eliminator which will determine the best Greek light heavyweight kickboxer of today. In one of the semi-finals Giannis Manolas takes on Marios Blanas. In another, Emmanuel Diakam faces Nikos Tzotzos. The winners of these bouts will meet in the championship round later on the night.
The highlight of the show is the Ladies First special featuring women’s MMA bout between Greek Christina Stelliou and Croatian Nikolina Katic. The pair contest for WKN International flyweight strap.
