WKN Greece: The Battle 17 results

Promoted by Stefanos Konstantinidis, The Battle 17 by WKN was proclaimed as the best fight show in Greece for the year. The event held on December 10 at Taekwondo Olympic Arena in Athens, featured a mixed-fight bill with two WKN titles challenged on the night.

In the main event Greek Mixed Martial Artist Andreas Michailidis defeated Slovakian middleweight Tomas Bolo in the first round (Ground and Pound). As a result he was awarded with the WKN International belt.

Also on the card, Aris Antoni successfully defended his WKN Greek super welterweight title, taking a split decision against Sotiris Tzivelis. In addition, Greek super welterweight Meletis Kakoubavas defeated Slovakian Pavol Garaj by TKO in the third round.
