The entire WKN global office, along with its president, wishes a speedy recovery to Mr. Seyed Hamid Reza Hejazi, who has been affected by a heart issue. He has been hospitalized and is scheduled for surgery in the coming days. Mr. Hejazi is the most prolific promoter in Iran 🇮🇷 and a person dearly cherished by WKN, as he was the first to invite a global president of a kickboxing federation to his country. He was also the first to organize a WKN World Cup in Iran and is a two-time WKN Intercontinental Champion.
An established athlete and an unquestionable figure in Iranian sports, he is one of the essential figures in kickboxing and its development in Iran. His kindness and hospitality have always touched the WKN members who have visited his country.
The World president himself is deeply moved by what is happening to his friend and hopes that he will soon return to the forefront of the sport and that everything goes smoothly for his upcoming surgery.
