Kickboxing World Championships returns to Mazan
World GBC Tour 12 is held on Saturday October 14 at La Boiserie. Promoted by David Blanc, the event marks a return of Kickboxing World Championship to Mazan with two WKN titles in the headliner of the program.
Eddy Nait Slimani faces Dong Su Kim of Korea in a five round challenge for a vacant WKN World super lightweight title. Over the course of his career Slimani twice earned WKN European lightweight title winning against Hungarian Antonie Habash and Belgian Alan Godzicki, consequently declaring his name as one of the top contenders for the World Title belt. Su Kim is a current WKN World lightweight champion, winning the title against German Kevin Burmester in May at ICX Seoul.
Bruce Condron aspires to make the third WKN World welterweight title defense when he faces Russian-Austrian Ruslan Tokhtarov. Codron won the title against Mohamed El-Mir of Denmark, as well as defended the belt against Estonian Mirkko Moisar.
