WKN France: Nait Slimani wins WKN World title, Codron makes defense

Promoted by David Blanc, World GBC Tour 12 was held on Saturday October 14 at La Boiserie. The event marked the return of Kickboxing World Championship to Mazan with two WKN titles challenged on the night.

French Eddy Nait Slimani faced Korean Dong Su Kim, battling out for a vacant WKN World super lightweight title. The bout ended prior the final bell, with the representative of the country claiming the victory by knockout in the first round. As a result Nait Slimani became a new champion in the division, as well as topped up his resume, which includes two WKN European titles, with prestigious World Championship belt.

Also on the night French Bruce Condron made the second WKN World welterweight title defense. The five-round championship defense against Russian-Austrian Ruslan Tokhtarov went the distance. The representative of the country-host was proclaimed as the winner by decision.
