Anthony Perrin presented a spectacular night of the international fight action on Saturday July 1 in Trets, France.
The event, Phenix Muay Thai 9, was a mixed bill with Kickboxing, Muay  Thai and Pankration bouts featured on the program. The headliner of the show was the contest for the WKN European super cruiserweight title between Fabien Fouquet of France and Dragos Zubco of Moldova.
Fouquet vs Zubco was a rematch following their non-title encounter in July 2016, with Moldovan earning the victory by way of first-round TKO due to medical stoppage. Their second encounter, scheduled for five rounds championship bout, similarly ended prior the final bell. Zubco took the win via TKO in Round 2 consequently earning a prestigious belt.
