Championships general rules
In order to promote a large number of fighters with clarity and seriousness, the WKN has always given 1 title per boxer and never 2 boxers have had the same title at the same time.
In this sporting logic, the WKN has never held Interim championships either.
The regulations are strict and serious, inspired by English boxing and its more than 100 years of experience. Each title is the property of the WKN for life as well as each champion approved for his title for life.
The new champion has 6 months to defend his belt (The belt is given for life to the boxer & cannot be taken back if the title has been approved and paid for). Each championship is always organized with a new belt which is compulsory.
After this period of 6 months, each title is automatically declared vacant and can be contested again if a serious offer has been validated.
To organize an official WKN championship and crown a champion, you must always have the approval of the world president.
