WKN Expands into Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ with Exciting Kickboxing and Muay Thai Development !
The World Kickboxing Network – WKN is in advanced negotiations for a major expansion into Malaysia, with agreements nearly finalized for three events to take place in the Johor region. With the support of our coordinator, Mr. Alexander Shah, we are laying the foundations for the growth of kickboxing and Muay Thai in this sports-loving nation, renowned for its passion for combat sports.
These upcoming events will mark the beginning of an exciting journey in Malaysia, and we are committed to building strong, sustainable infrastructure for the sport. As part of our expansion efforts, WKN is also working on the development of a dual team of officialsā€”judges and refereesā€”in Malaysia, ensuring the country becomes fully autonomous in regulating and overseeing events.
This development is also part of our exclusive Kombat registration program, in collaboration with Boxrec. These events will be the first-ever kickboxing competitions officially recorded in Malaysia, adding significant recognition and legitimacy to the countryā€™s emerging kickboxing scene.
We will soon provide more details about the local promoter who will begin working closely with WKN to organize and bring these events to life. This agreement for three initial events is just the beginning, with additional plans already in the pipeline for future competitions.
Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new chapter for WKN in Malaysia!
