Kickboxing series Simply the Best 22 was held at club GEI in Buenos Aires on Saturday September 22. The event featured a large fight-bill with some of the leading Argentinian fighters, as well as the representatives of Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Colombia.
In the main event Argentinian Cristian Bosch squared off against Colombian Andres Dussan for the second time. The pair battled out for WKN International Super Light Heavyweight title in Muay Thai.
The bout went the distance, with the representative of the country-host proclaimed as a winner by a unanimous decision. In addition to the belt, Bosch took the second win over Dussan, following their first encounter in June 2015 at STB 5 Caseros.
Also on the night Argentinian singer and model Cintia Alonso made a special appearance. As well, the programme included a feature performance of El Show De Andy.
President of World Kickboxing Network Stephane Cabrera attended the event as a special guest.
Simply the Best 22 Buenos Aires is produced in terms of the “Estrellas de Acero” programme created by Jorge Acero Cali. The episode is scheduled for broadcast on FOX Sports (Latin America), CN23 and B1B.
