The World President and Habib Bakir: A Friendship at the Service of Fight Sports !
The World President recently met with Habib Bakir, promoter of the BFS and a key figure in French combat sports. Their relationship goes far beyond professional collaboration, it is built on genuine friendship, mutual respect, and a shared vision for the future of WKN.
Their bond goes back decades: in the 1990s, when the World President created the KBCM, Habib Bakir was one of his fighters. This long history makes their collaboration today even more meaningful, as it is rooted in both shared experiences and mutual trust.
A man of remarkable achievements, Habib Bakir is a former 6 times WKN Continental Champion of Europe, as well as a WKN World Champion in a legendary organization in Lagos, Nigeria. His distinguished career in the ring has laid the foundation for his leadership outside of it.
Today, he stands as the WKN Coordinator for France, the official head of the organization in the country, while also serving as an International Supervisor for WKN. His unwavering commitment and loyalty have been instrumental in strengthening the presence of WKN in France and across the world.
This cordial and professional meeting was not only about preparing the sixth edition of the event in Nîmes, scheduled for January 2026, but also about reaffirming a friendship that has become a cornerstone of WKN’s development.
