WKN World title is on the line tonight (May 25) in French city Agde, where Christophe Dragole presents the 16th edition of Trophée de l’Éphèbe de Kickboxing. TEKB 16 is headlined by a pair of super welterweight featuring Slovakian Stefan Meszaros up against Spanish Jordi Requejo.
Requejo replaced French Mickael Pignolo who was forced to withdraw due to injury suffered in the car accident three days before the event. WKN World Office wishes Pignolo a speedy recovery.
In his previous bout late March Requejo fought Pignolo at BFS 1 Nimes. The the contest ended in a unanimous draw.
Although taking the five-round world championship bout against the current WKN European Welterweight titleholder Stefan Meszaros on a short notice, the representative of Team Calvet, Jordi Requejo looks to claim WKN Gold.
The championship supervisor is Habib Bakir. The rest of TEKB Agde 16 includes a series of bouts with local and international competitors.
