Stefanos Zefkis, Alexandros Christodoulou & Christos Tsiattalos lift WKN Cyprus titles at Uppercut Fight Night in Nicosia

Three WKN National champions have been crowned in Cyprus at Uppercut Fight Night held at Pavilion Hall Nicosia on Sunday, July 3.

Stefanos Zefkis became a new WKN Cyprus super welterweight champion with a unanimous decision against Paraskos Theofanous. Alexandros Christodoulou earned WKN Cyprus super featherweight belt by unanimous decision against Christos Patroklou. Christos Tsiattalos claimed WKN Cyprus lightweight title by knockout in the second round against Ioannis Volou.

President of World Kickboxing Network, Stephane Cabrera stated: “Kickboxing is really back to Cyprus at its best. Promoter Chris Christodoulou presented a perfectly organized event, great atmosphere and top fights with the participants from all over the country. I look forward to the next ‘Uppercut Fight Night’ planned for October.”

Over the years Cyprus hosted numerous events featuring WKN World and subordinate championship bouts, as well as three episodes of boxing series of tournaments “Bigger’s Better” live on Eurosport.
