The dedication and talent within the ranks of Martinique’s law enforcement are once again in the spotlight, this time in the world of international sport.
Sandrine Lindor, a 25-year-old from northern Martinique and a voluntary assistant gendarme with the Comgend Martinique, has just been crowned Amateur World Kickboxing Champion in the -69 kg category. The title was won at the prestigious World Kickboxing Network – WKN championship event.
This remarkable achievement highlights not only her exceptional athletic ability but also her commitment to excellence both in and out of uniform. Sandrine represents the values of discipline, perseverance, and determination — values shared by both the French Gendarmerie and high-level sport.
A huge congratulations to Sandrine for this outstanding performance and already impressive track record. She is a true source of pride for Martinique, the WKN, and the French Gendarmerie.
