Smith defends WKN Intercontinental Welterweight title against Sone

Johnny “Swift” Smith (10-0, 6 KO) is scheduled to defend his WKN Intercontinental Welterweight title. The representative of Northern Ireland faces Shuhei Sone (15-8-2, 5 KO) of Japan on October 26 at the Stormont Hotel in Belfast. The pair headlines the next edition of  “made in Prokick” events, billed as “Lord of the Ring”.

“Swfit” Smith earned the strap by TKO in the fourth round against Lee Ji Hoon of Korea in June. If successful in the upcoming outing, he will qualify to challenge for WKN Gold.

The undercard will feature a series of bouts with local and international competitors. The event is presented by Billy Murray.
