Simply the Best 23 – K.O. San Luis featured a series of kickboxing and MMA bouts held at Ave Fenix on November 10. Two WKN titles were contested on the night.
In the main event Fernando ‘Pitbull’ Martinez of Argentina went up against Brian Araujo of Uruguay. The pair battled out for WKN South American Lightweight title. The contest ended in favor of the representative of the country-host who took the win by submission in the second round.
In the co-main event Rodrigo “Buga” Carlos of Brazil faced Francisco “La Tempestad” Lefebvre of Paraguay. The contest was for WKN International Heavyweight title. Brazilian competitor took the win by TKO in the first round.
Simply the Best 23 was presented by former WKN World Super Cruiserweight champion Jorge Acero Cali. Governor of San Luis Province Alberto Rodriguez Saa supported the event.
