Samuel Dbili is back in the ring on June 5 to defend his WKN European super middleweight title in the co-main event of BFS 2 in Nimes, France.
French champion Dbili earned the belt by split decision against Bulgarian Branko Babachev in December 2019. He was set to make his first title defense in March 2020, but the event didn’t go ahead due to pandemic.
Another addition to the BFS 2 card features prominent French middleweight Benjamin Gerbet partaking in WKN European Grand Prix contested in the format of four-man knockout tournament. Gerbet won his previous bout in December 2019 by unanimous decision against Mimoun Zahafi.
The main event at BFS 2 will see previously announced French super welterweight Christian Berthely challenging for WKN Gold.
