Ronny Kamenik, Robert Varkentin victorious at Fighting Rookies 4

Two titles were on the line in Halle (Saale), Germany on March 9. Billed as “Fighting Rookies 4”, the event was presented by Ingo Baberski of Fight Academy Merseburg, with WKN European pro-amateur and German national belts for grabs.

In the main event Ronny Kamenik of Germany faced off Luca Renzi of Italy. The pair battled it out for WKN European Welterweight pro-amateur title. The bout went the distance with a unanimous decision pronounced in favor of the representative of the country-host.

Also on the night Robert Varkentin became WKN German Super Light Heavyweight pro-amateur champion scoring a unanimous decision against Kupke.

The championship supervisor was Klaus Hagemann.
