The WKN wishes to highlight the outstanding work carried out by Mr. Karim Chebbi during the organization of the recent event in Tunisia on August 30.
Mr. Chebbi faced pressures from all sides: both national and international,aimed at cancelling the event and depriving Tunisia of a great champion and a new rising star. Yet these attempts did not succeed in breaking his determination. On the contrary, his perseverance and commitment ensured that the night became a remarkable success for Tunisian and African combat sports.
The WKN World President personally intervened to support our promoter, Mr. Chebbi, so that the African Championship weekend could take place. Although two title fights were unfortunately cancelled, the event still delivered with the highest standards, featuring an honorable and high-level main bout, a professional press conference, a magnificent weigh-in, and a closing media event that placed Tunisia once again in the spotlight of international combat sports.
To engrave this achievement in history, and to highlight this prestigious WKN Continental Championship, the entire event will be officially recorded on our exclusive platform BoxRec.
For this, we salute Mr. Karim Chebbi. His resilience and abnegation embody the true spirit of the WKN, which for more than 31 years has stood for sporting values, integrity, and the global promotion of champions.
