President’s Message – Opening the Year !
As we begin a new year, I would first like to sincerely thank everyone who helped make 2025 an exceptional year. Once again, it was a year marked by honor, commitment, and dedication.
One of the most powerful and moving moments of this year was my experience on the combat sports mats in Argentina. There, I truly felt the essence of our disciplines and the true meaning of combat sports. I witnessed clubs where the fighting spirit remains intact, sometimes entirely, sometimes partially but always alive. Places where values are built through effort, discipline, and respect.
The year 2025 was also a year of important structural progress. We officially incorporated Cambodian combat sports into our regulations, honoring the rich heritage of Kun Khmer. This step was further strengthened by the arrival of a new and respected figure among us: General Khov Chhay, whose presence represents both legitimacy and continuity for our sport.
In 2025, we also made a deliberate choice to place honor and emphasis on national titles. These titles are the foundation of all progression and evolution for every fighter. They are the true starting point of a sporting career and must always be respected as such.
Of course, the year was not without challenges. We faced issues caused by a lack of humility, a lack of respect, and attitudes that contradict the very values of sport. Combat sports are built in training halls, through daily work and sacrifice not on social media, and certainly not through the ideas of individuals who have no sporting culture and no respect for the work of others.
In 2026, we will come back stronger. We will restore honor, integrity, and pride to all our disciplines. Be absolutely certain of this.
Our sports deserve respect.
Our athletes deserve recognition.
And our values will always prevail as SIMPLY THE BEST !
