National Pride, Real Championships: Three National Titles, One WKN Weekend !
This weekend, the World Kickboxing Network . WKN is proud to sanction three official national championship bouts across two countries, a powerful reminder of the value and legitimacy that structured national titles bring to our sport.
In Belfast, Northern Ireland, Bash ‘n’ Mash, promoted by Billy Murray, will feature two prestigious national showdowns:
🔹 The WKN All-Ireland Professional K-1 Super Featherweight Title, as Jay Snoddon faces Corey O’Malley in a headline bout filled with intensity and national pride.
🔹 The WKN Irish Amateur Title, where Dan Braniff and Connor Hynes will battle in a defining clash between two of Ireland’s brightest prospects.
On the same day in Turin, Italy, The Steel Legacy, presented by Umberto Biglia and supervised by Carlo Barbuto, will host the WKN Italian Kickboxing Championship (Welterweight) between Danfo Tapsoba and Samuele Manfrellotti, an event that embodies Italy’s serious and structured approach to combat sports.
All three championship bouts are officially registered on BoxRec, our exclusive global partner, ensuring visibility, credibility, and recognition for the athletes involved.
In a time when meaningless titles and unsanctioned events are on the rise, WKN remains committed to authentic sporting values. National titles are the foundation of any real career in combat sports earned, respected, and celebrated.
This weekend, we celebrate what truly matters: honor, structure, and national pride under the WKN banner.
