Storm Series: Nacho Menen TKO’s Ovidio Mihali
The WKN European title was on the line last night in Madrid, Spain. The contest featured the representative of the country-host Nacho Menen up against Italian competitor Ovidio Mihali, squaring off at welterweight. The pair headlined the event titled “Storm Series”.
The scheduled for five rounds championship bout ended prior to the final bell. Menen earned the win as well as a prestigeous belt by TKO in the fifth round, after Mihali suffered broken nose, and the doctor waved the fight off.
Also on the night, Mohamed Afitou went up against Farah Silva. The pair battled it out for WKN Spanish Lightweight title. After three rounds of action the latter was pronounced as the winner by split decision.
The undercard featured a series of amateur and professional kickboxing bouts. Storm Series in Spanish capital followed Fight for Glory produced in July in Badalona, Catalonia.
