More details about the Registration at the WKN Europe open Amateur
Dear sports friends, on September 21, 2024 the Jahrhunderthalle Spergau will host the first OPEN Amateur European Championship in Germany under the international supervision of the WKN.
The fights will take place in tournament mode over an entire day with the weigh-in in the morning at 9/10 a.m.
The preliminary round qualifications in 2 rounds of 2 minutes and the finals in 3 rounds of two minutes with a break time of 1 minute.
You will find the exact rules for this in the appendix.
*Class A/PRO fighters are not allowed.
*Each participant will have to present a valid medical certificate (no more than 3 month time) to be allowed to fight on the tournament.

16/17
18+
The weight classes are specified in the regulations.
Each fighter who is designated as champion will be offered a WKN top belt & medals with official certificates.
The registration fee per fighter has been set by the German promoter at 40 euros.
All payments concerning registrations for the championship must be paid to the promoter of the evening.

OFFICIAL Orientales Rules / K1 rules
-Weigh-in day of the fight 9/10 am
-2×2 mn qualification fight / 3×2min final
-1 min break
-Low kick on the first part of the leg / not on the knees / not on the shin
– swept on the foot allowed
– knees with clinches / referee decision to stop the clinch
& – 18 No knees to the head
– no clinches without knees
– knee in direct allowed
– Taking the leg is not allowed
– Back fist is allowed
– head guard, foot and shin protection
-Amateur tape strapping are mandatory in the hand and allowed at the leg/ankle ( not too high/ 1/3 of the shin maximum )
General informations
-2 & 3 rounds x 2 minutes . No extra round ( only in final in case of a draw) and 2 & 3×1,5 mn for – 18 juniors
-4 knock down rules are in effect by fight & 3 in a round
-The doctor may stop the fight at any time.
-gloves of 10 0z for all participants
-Standing account is allowed
-If the fight stop and cannot restart for illegal action intended, the fighter that give the action is disqualified .
-If the fight stop for injuries in a illegal action not intended the winner will be elected regarding score cards
-All judges need a winner on his scoring card, only at final the fight can be a draw & 1 extra round where each judge need to have a winner.
