Mahmoud Ismail delivered a stunning KO with a typically Thai technique «KAO LOY» during the Big Joe’s The Battle event. In Thailand, kickboxing has unique yet fascinating rules: fighters are allowed to strike with their knees, but clinching is not permitted. The WKN has adhered to these same rules for years. However, some countries do not allow the use of knees in kickboxing bouts, permitting them only in K-1 or Oriental Rules fights.
