Looking Back at DTF Edition Four !
The word that best describes the organization of this event in Orléans, promoted by Morgan Prévost, is undoubtedly “impeccable.” A sold-out evening, with no tickets available more than 10 days before the event, showcased top-quality championships sanctioned by the WKN, which always prioritizes delivering high-caliber matches. The night was a perfect mix of action, entertainment, and emotion—everything needed for a 100% successful evening.
Regarding the two WKN championships, the World Championship and the European Championship, both lived up to expectations. The clash between Krafi and the reigning champion Mekki was a thrilling confrontation between two true warriors. Every round was tightly contested, and in the end, the fight honored both boxers and their teams, with the reigning world champion ultimately securing victory against his European challenger. This kind of high-quality match is increasingly rare in the current kickboxing scene, where poorly organized and low-standard events are held every weekend.
The European Championship between two highly skilled female fighters highlighted the exceptional technical prowess of Lindsay Thomas, who managed to control the fight with great precision against Sonia Dinh a tough opponent who never gave up. Congratulations to both athletes for delivering a remarkable WKN European Championship bout.
The promoter Morgan Prevost and his team, now at their fourth edition, can be proud of their work, as this event will undoubtedly remain in the memories of fans. They successfully showcased the city of Orléans and its potential for hosting major popular events. We look forward to the fifth edition, which will undoubtedly match the high standards set so far.
Bravo to everyone involved!
