Johnny Gauvin lifts WKN Indian Ocean title at BDN Fight Night in Réunion

The World Kickboxing Network returned to Réunion on Saturday, April 30 with the WKN Indian Ocean championship headlining BDN Fight Night at Plateau noir de Bois de Nèfles.

The championship bout saw juniors Johnny Gauvin and Yloan Dijoux as they squared off in a three-round super lightweight battle in oriental rules. The verdict heard Gauvin coming out victorious and taking a prestigious WKN strap.

The event, aimed to help promote a new kickboxing generation, was presented by Team Robert. The supervisor was Didier Wullschleger.

The previous event, Fight Night Muay Thai K1, was held in February, featuring two WKN European championship bouts.
