Jay Snoddon wins his fight in Scotland by Ko 2 !
The WKN champions from the United Kingdom and Ireland are built step by step with strength and merit. The UK and Ireland are two countries where WKN is not very active. However, these countries host championships every week though the legitimacy of these events can vary.
It is very difficult for us to break into markets like this, where skill, experience, and professionalism often matter less than simply having a scene. And that seems to be enough.
Billy Murray from Belfast/Northern Ireland is one of the few WKN promoters in this region, which has long lacked true and great champions. We’ve organized major fights there in the past, but unfortunately, shortcuts and easy titles have often outweighed everything we’ve tried to build.
The result is that when one of our WKN champions faces champions from other organizations, the difference is obvious just as it was this past weekend in Scotland, where Jay Snoddon easily won his fight, even though he accepted it at the last minute.
